Cairdeas 2 visited Harper’s Island in Glounthaune. This is a peaceful bird reserve. The trip follows our learning about the life cycle of a robin. The children watched the birds from the look-out huts along the walkway and we also had the opportunity to uncover the bugs residing in the ‘bug house’ nearby.
We finished off our trip with a visit to Glounthaune playground.
