Today, the 6th class students celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation in a beautiful and meaningful ceremony presided over by Monsignor Gearóid Dullea, assisted by Canon Teddy O'Sullivan and Fr Pat O'Mahony. The students, having spent the past few months preparing through prayer, reflection, and learning about the significance of the Holy Spirit, took this important step in their faith journey with great reverence.
A special thanks goes to the 6th class teachers for their dedication in guiding the students through their preparation, ensuring they were ready both spiritually and practically for this special day. Their hard work was evident in the students' confident participation in the ceremony.
The celebration was further enriched by the beautiful singing of the 5th class pupils, who formed the choir under the direction of Ms Réidín Kelleher. Their music added a joyful and uplifting atmosphere to the occasion, making it even more memorable for all in attendance.
It was a truly special day for the students, their families, and the school community, marking an important milestone in their faith journey.
