RED/ FAVOURITE JERSEY DAY
On Friday 17th February, the school will be holding a ‘Red Day’ to celebrate Cork playing Dublin in the Hurling League and Munster playing Ospreys in the Rugby League. The non-uniform days are very popular with the boys. There is always a great ‘buzz’ around the school on the day and we encourage everyone to get involved. Every child is asked to bring in €2 so they can wear red clothing for the day, instead of their usual school uniform. (This does not have to be a sports jersey but can be any item of red clothing, so please do not go and buy special clothes just for this day). All monies raised on the day go directly back into the school and is used to benefit all the boys.

Second Hand Uniform Shop
We have a selection of good quality second hand uniforms at fantastic prices. Come along and have a look. We are based in Room 20 which is situated in the Prefabs at the far end of the school yard. The shop is open 8.40am to 9.15am on the first Friday of every month during school time. Our next shop will be on Friday 3rd March.
If you have any unwanted St. Columba’s BNS uniforms and tracksuits in good condition, we would be delighted if you would donate them to the Uniform Shop. Please make sure they are not torn, if they are you can bring them to our next LENREC collection. Any uniform donations can be left at the school reception. Thank You.
