Cork County Council is currently developing the Douglas Land Use and Transportation Strategy which, amongst other things, will include a school access management plan for the area. I met with a member of the strategy development team to discuss relevant issues. The council would also like to hear parents’ views on local transportation issues and how parents think Douglas should develop. Information on the strategy is available on the Cork County Council website on www.corkcoco.ie . A consultation questionnaire can be accessed through the website until the 11th May and by completing the questionnaire you can help inform the strategy.
