ENERGY AWARENESS DAY – 7th APRIL 2011
St. Columba’s BNS are re-enforcing awareness of energy and energy conservation. As we work towards our 2nd Energy Green Flag, each class is investigating the topic and we will put into practice all new ideas. To highlight this awareness, we are having an earth hour from 12 – 1pm during which all lights/appliances are turned off to save energy. Children are being encouraged to bring this message home and remind their parents to save energy too.
