On March 1st, a volunteer from the Irish Guide Dog Association visited Third Class in St. Columba’s BNS. Toni the fundraising dog accompanied. The boys learned about the purpose of the Irish Guide dogs and the wonderful work done within the association. Third Class donated the sum of €365 to the association from the proceeds of their Christmas Carol cd sales. Well done to all the boys who participated in the recording of the cd. Many thanks to those who purchased a copy of the cd. The proceeds went to a most worthy cause.
